This notice explains what personal information Mystical Shangrila Travels collects, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
What we collect
When you send a booking request, a contact form or an email, we receive the details you give us. These usually include your name, email address, phone number, nationality, travel dates, the number of travellers and any notes you add. If you book a trip, we also collect passport details and photographs, which are needed for your visa application.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare an itinerary and quote
- To make the bookings your trip needs: hotels, guides, transport, flights and permits
- To apply for your Bhutan visa and pay the Sustainable Development Fee on your behalf
- To contact you before and during your trip
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs: the Bhutanese immigration and tourism authorities (for visas, permits and the SDF), the hotels, airlines and other service providers on your itinerary, and the email and form service that delivers website messages to our inbox.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as is needed to respond and plan your trip. Booking records are kept for as long as accounting and legal requirements in Bhutan demand.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address as part of normal web requests.
